    The Journey So Far

Today, groundbreaking technologies are emerging at a rapid pace and being abreast with the changing technical landscape; organizations are rethinking their business strategies. The prolonged standing use of computer numerical control (CNC) tools in the manufacturing industry and their development in the assembly space has made it an integral part of the operational process. It benefits the manufacturing industry by reducing manual labor while also offering production advantages over conventional methods to the manufacturers. With over 40 years of experience in this realm, Pat Boland, Founder, and Joint Managing Director, ANCA CNC Machines discusses his journey in the manufacturing industry, focusing on the advantages of using CNC and grinding tools in the manufacturing industry.

Implementing AI, IoT or Machine Learning in the Operational Automation Space

Each innovation that is streamlined into a framework fulfills a specific need. It is imperative for us to establish visibility into outsourced production for improving factory compliance and increasing supply to keep up with the soaring demands.
Hence, in our workspace, alongside factory management, we rely on operational storage functioning for integrating data from multiple sources. It allows additional operational functionalities such as reporting, controlling and operating decision support in the manufacturing industry. Although it is not mandatory to leverage AI, IoT, or machine learning in this vertical, most enterprises streamline these technologies in order to gain the trust of a customer and boost performance measurement.

3d simulation helps us to get acquainted with the nitty-gritty of the end-product without actually manufacturing it, thus assisting enterprises to study and analyze the outcomes

Drastic Impact of Technology in the Manufacturing Space

It is probable that AI, IoT and Machine Learning will take over the manufacturing industry in no time. Enterprises must implement these technologies for greater accuracy to keep with the unrealistic demands of the customers. Along with that, it will also increase sales in the market; three-way simulation is one technology that has recently gained momentum in this industry space. 3D simulation helps us to get acquainted with the nitty-gritty of the end-product without actually manufacturing it, thus assisting enterprises to study and analyze the outcomes. It gives us an edge over the analytical model as it enables us to weed out any unexpected issues.

A Piece of Advice for the New Players in the Manufacturing Industry

It is an uphill task for the new players in this industry to get a hold of their first client. After building a stable customer base, these emerging players must make it a point to improve the quality of their end-product. They should focus on amending the glitches in their end-product based on customer feedback. The sale of their end-product solely depends on how they respond to feedback from customers and how quickly they adapt to the changing marketing scenario. New companies should work hard to deliver high-quality products. Even third-world countries like China, Thailand, and India are putting in a lot of efforts to improvise and develop new technologies in this industrial realm. To sum up, I would say that the customer is the king, customers keep manufacturers like us going, and hence their likes and dislikes are of supreme importance.
